Sauna
I use a sauna for 20 minutes at 170 degrees. The goal was to bring my entire body to a uniformed degree of uncomfortableness so that when my sauna session was complete my entire body would return to a baseline. With continued exposure my body would reset it’s baseline for being in pain and overall ability to be uncomfortable. The more I looked into sauna exposure the more benefits I found. Saunas have been found to:
Decrease pain
Reduce stress levels
Improve cardiovascular health
Improve skin
Relieve asthma symptoms
Decrease risk of Alzheimer’s
Increase relaxation
